What: This is an educational series The Silver Group launched with the intent of teaching attendees about how to navigate elder transitions, as well as protect and compassionately serve senior loved ones in the best ways possible. From online scams, housing scams, and Medicare fraud, to housing options, downsizing, and overall safety at home; Topics that are covered in this series are extremely relevant, and the information shared is pertinent to elder safety and security. We are so excited to see you all there!

When: Every Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. This time will be broken into 30 minutes of presentation as well as 15 minutes allotted for Q & A.

“The Equity in Aging Advisory Committee will convene next Tuesday, March 16th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Committee’s purpose is to apply an equity-lens to inform and advise on the MPA’s and the California Department of Aging’s (CDA) processes, activities, programs, and deliverables.
 
Committee members will discuss Master Plan for Aging implementation; COVID-19 response, vaccines, and equity implications; digital divide efforts and concerns in California, and more. This meeting is open to the public and 15 minutes will be reserved at the end of the meeting for public comment.
Closed captioning and American Sign Language interpreting services will be provided.
